what we do

We offer Architecture and Landscape Architecture services undertaking a very wide range of projects, varying in scale and complexity. These include the design of bespoke new build houses or re-modelling and extending existing homes. We also design buildings for commercial, educational and leisure use. Low energy design is of great importance to us and we use our expertise to create buildings that require minimal energy to run whilst also creating healthy and comfortable internal environments. We are advocates of the PassivHaus design approach and have the in-house expertise to design to this standard.

Our Landscape services include, but are not limited to, garden and planting design, woodland and estate management and play spaces or recreational areas.

We relish working throughout all project stages and value a collaborative and informed design process. Our projects arise from a good understanding of the context and spirit of your site and requirements

We treat each project individually, to deliver high quality buildings and landscapes which offer value, functionality and delight.

We take pride in achieving creative solutions to transform challenging spaces into useful and beautiful places.

We create bespoke residential schemes and unique contemporary country houses.

We breathe new life into existing buildings with our impressive renovations and sensitive designs. We have a reputation for building conservation and work to listed buildings, and we are experienced in creating just the right relationship between contemporary interventions and their historic settings.

With expertise in ecological design materials and technology, passive energy and healthy building systems, we strive to bring sustainability to the core of our projects.

Making is part of our design process and we use both hand and CAD modelling to help us and our clients better understand the spaces we’re creating and place them into context.

We have experience and expertise in delivering  private homes, NPPF55 Country House designs, tailored learning environments, conservation and works to listed buildings, club houses, development planning, hospitality, museums and heritage buildings, and a range of commercial projects.

Embedded in our approach is a response to local distinctiveness as well as environmental, social and economic constraints. Landscapes take time to evolve and through the use of quality materials and well considered design, we believe in the creation of sustainable places for our future.

We have experience in a range of both private and public realm projects and, drawing on the quality and traditions of historic landscape design, we have developed our own distinctive contemporary style often including bold form and colourful planting.

We collaborate with furniture makers, ecologists and sculptors to ensure design vision is achievable to the highest standards, creating a strong identity and sense of place.

Our experience with community projects has shown that well implemented landscape improvements can be the catalyst for regeneration, encouraging a sense of civic pride and further investment.

We have experience and expertise in delivering master planning, planting design, landscape assessment, garden design, woodland and estate management and tree surveying.
