who we are

Austin Design Works is a family-run business led by siblings Rachael and Matthew Austin. We are based in Nailsworth in the heart of the Cotswolds. The practice has been in business for over 20 years guaranteeing that we have excellent local knowledge of the area, planning precedents and a strong network of consultants, contractors and craftsmen.

We are able to draw on a wide range of experience, skills and expertise within our team. We are particularly proud of our credentials in working with listed buildings and conservation settings. We are developing a positive reputation for site sensitive, ecologically conscious design and a sustainable approach at the core of our projects.
