A garden oasis near the River Severn
Luxury garden with the with an outdoor kitchen, roof terrace, natural swimming pool and a hot tub with a view. The existing paddocks were redesigned as a series of rooms, with pavilion structures and sculptural lighting integral to defining spaces within the garden.
The large natural swimming pool is cleaned by bio-filters and constructed using insulated panels, meaning that it requires minimal heating and absolutely no chemicals to maintain. Edged in thick French limestone and a wooden decking, this pool is completed by a pavilion which also combines as a pump house and store.
Raised beds keep olive trees out of the wet ground in the Mediterranean garden room and structural lighting columns delineate the space and provide support for climbing roses.
The outdoor kitchen pavilion, complete with wood-fired pizza oven- forms the entertainment area, with connections to the roof terrace and hot tub. Planting includes a lavender and rose hedge, scenting the seating area and a herb garden within reach of the kitchen.
